140,000 people were waiting for an autism assessment in England in December 2022, new NHS data has revealed. This is a 40% increase in the number of people waiting in just one year.

A renowned sociologist who was diagnosed with autism as a child and didn’t learn to read or write until the age of 18 will become the youngest Black professor ever appointed at the University of Cambridge in England.

He Will Now Be The Youngest Black Professor Ever At The University Of Cambridge The renowned sociologist who didn't learn to read or write until the age of 18 hopes that his story will inspire others from under-represented backgrounds to pursue higher education.
