As the group is small,we all become involved in all aspects of a production. You may produce one play and be chief tea maker for the next.

St John's Players are a small friendly group of people who aim to perform a range of plays to a high standard, but also aim to have a great deal of fun in doing so. At the "get in" it is all hands on deck to build and paint the set, It is not a group for prima donnas! Our regular club night is Tuesday, but when in rehearsal we meet on Thursday as well. News Update! Since our last production, we've been busy planning for the future. Throughout May we'll be reading various potential scripts for future shows. Our next production will be week commencing 10th October 2022 - we'll be making a decision about what it will be and casting soon for on-stage roles and vital backstage roles. The story of an adult literacy class run by a well meaning and optimistic teacher but not only is the class taking place in a creche, her students are a bunch of misfits who aren't really sure they want to be there 😬

All kinds of shenanigans begin to unfold, so sit back, relax and enjoy the hilarity!

Performing at the Vesta Tilley Studio at the Swan Theatre from Wed 30 March - Sat 2 April, this is a performance so good you'll want to see it twice 😍
