King's Hawford

Holiday Club has been in full swing at both King’s Hawford and King’s St Alban’s this summer! ☀️

From swimming and pizza making to mini golf, bouncy castle fun and a visit from The History Man, there has been plenty to keep pupils busy and entertained all summer. 🏊 ⛳

Yesterday was A Level results day at King’s Worcester, and it was wonderful to see so many King’s Hawford alumni celebrating another year of outstanding achievement.

This year, our students completed an impressive 427 A Levels, alongside a range of additional qualifications, including the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).

Their results are a reflection of their hard work, ambition and commitment, as well as the breadth of opportunities they have embraced through our extensive enrichment programme. These experiences have helped them develop the skills, confidence and independence needed for life beyond school.

Students are now heading on to an exciting range of destinations, including leading universities, while a record number have secured degree apprenticeships with top organisations.

We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved. Their success is a testament to their dedication and the strong foundations they built during their time at King’s Hawford.

During the final week of term, we were delighted to welcome two Old Hawfordians and OVs, Alfie and Joe Pritchard, to speak in assembly.

The brothers shared the incredible fundraising challenges they have completed, including five endurance events that have raised over £60,000 for a range of charities. Their most recent achievement was an extraordinary two-man relay from John O’Groats to Land’s End – covering an incredible 1,370km in just 7 days, 11 hours and 35 minutes! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

Alfie and Joe spoke about the determination, resilience and teamwork needed to complete such demanding challenges, linking their experiences to our school values. They also shared photos from their own time at Hawford, with plenty of familiar teacher faces bringing back happy memories!

A huge thank you to Alfie and Joe for inspiring our pupils to dream big, work hard and make a positive difference to others.

Throwback to our Kindergarten and Pre-Prep Sports Day!🏃🏃‍♀️

From exciting races to brilliant teamwork, it was a day full of smiles, encouragement and plenty of fun. Every pupil showed fantastic enthusiasm, resilience and a wonderful attitude.
