Travelling to Court Equestrian this weekend?

Just a quick reminder that the Malvern Autumn Show is taking place this weekend, so the local area is likely to be busier than usual, with increased traffic around Malvern and the Three Counties Showground.

If you’re joining us for a lesson or hack, please allow a little extra time for your journey.

We look forward to seeing everyone at Court Equestrian — safe travels!

🦢 WELL… THAT’S NOT SOMETHING YOU SEE EVERY DAY AT COURT EQUESTRIAN! 🦢

Just when we thought we’d seen pretty much everything on the yard… a swan flew into a tree. 🤦‍♀️🌳

And not just landed in a tree.

No.

STUCK. IN. A. TREE. 😂

Luckily, a kind member of the public managed to release our rather confused feathered friend and Claire was called to assist.

Obviously, when you work at Court Equestrian, the words “there’s a swan stuck in a tree” are apparently enough to constitute an emergency call-out. 😂

So Claire and Becky gathered up the swan and headed off to Vale Wildlife Centre for a proper check-up.

And that’s when we discovered that our unexpected visitor is blind in one eye 👁️🦢 — which may well have contributed to his rather unfortunate navigational error!

He’s now in the safe hands of the wildlife centre, being looked after and assessed.

We’d like to say this was the first time Claire has had a swan as a passenger…

…but somehow, we feel this probably won’t be the last. 😂

Court Equestrian: Livery Yard, Riding School, Teaching Centre… and apparently occasional Swan Rescue Service. 🦢🤣

Don’t let the darker evenings stop your progress!

With everyone getting back into their usual routines, riding doesn’t have to take a back seat.

We run group lessons for both adults and children on weekday evenings, Tuesday to Friday, giving you plenty of opportunities to keep riding, progressing and spending time with your favourite horses and ponies.

And with our floodlit arenas, the darker autumn and winter evenings don’t mean the riding has to stop.

Whether you’re working towards your next goal or simply love your time in the saddle, keep your riding going all year round.

Want a career working with horses?

It’s not too late to enrol at Court Equestrian this September. We still have places available on our City & Guilds Equine courses – Levels 1, 2 and 3.

Our full-time courses combine hands-on experience with horses and classroom-based learning, helping students develop practical skills, knowledge and confidence.

Students who have not already achieved their GCSE English and Maths will study these alongside their equine qualification.

Courses are fully Government funded for eligible students and are suitable for:

* 16–18 year olds
* Home-educated students from age 14/15 who have been home educated for at least six months
* Students with an EHCP, subject to individual assessment and approval

Court Equestrian has been delivering these courses since 2012, in partnership with Abingdon & Witney College.

Places are still available for September. Get in touch to find out more or arrange a visit.
