Summer Camp at Court Equestrian

Our camps have been a huge success this summer, with so many brilliant memories made along the way!

From lots of time in the saddle, hacking, handy pony and plenty of fun around the yard, to some fantastic demonstrations and talks from our equine professionals. Our campers have had the chance to learn from the vet, farrier, equine dentist and equine chiropractor, giving them a real insight into everything that goes into caring for our horses and ponies.

And the summer fun isn’t over yet!

We still have a few spaces available on our non-residential Summer Camp starting Monday 24th August, suitable for riders aged approximately 4–17 years of all abilities.

If you’d like to squeeze in a few more horsey memories before the summer is over, we’d love to have you join us.

Summer Camp Learning

As part of our non-residential Summer Camp, we welcomed Sam Smith, equine chiropractor, to Court Equestrian for a fantastic demonstration.

Sam explained why horses and ponies may benefit from chiropractic treatment and showed our riders some of the signs of relaxation to look out for, including licking, chewing and yawning.

Our four-legged “paid actor” performed perfectly on cue, which resulted in plenty of laughter!

A big thank you to Sam for giving our riders such an interesting and informative session. It’s great to give them the opportunity to learn more about the care that goes into keeping our horses and ponies happy and healthy.

August at Court Equestrian

There’s plenty to look forward to this month at Court Equestrian.

This August we have Fundays, Tuesday Hacks, our Non-Residential Summer Camp, a vet talk on worming and parasite control, as well as all of our regular riding lessons.

Whether you’re joining us for a one-off activity or riding every week, we’d love to see you at the yard.

All lessons and activities can be booked through our online booking system. If something you’d like to book is full, it’s always worth checking back for cancellations or getting in touch with us directly.

Client Information Evening – Save the Date

We are pleased to be welcoming our vets to Court Equestrian on Tuesday 4th August for an informative talk on worming and parasite control.

We’d love to invite any of our clients who are interested in coming along. It’s a great opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and hear directly from the experts.

What a fantastic start to the summer!

What a brilliant first week of the summer holidays it’s been at Court Equestrian!

We’ve enjoyed two fantastic Fundays, packed with riding, pony care, stable management, games and plenty of smiles.

Alongside all the holiday fun, we’ve had lots of brilliant lessons taking place, with riders of all ages enjoying time in the saddle.

We even managed to get a few of our staff members in front of Amelia’s camera during our recent photoshoots – not something that happens very often!

A huge thank you to everyone who has joined us so far. Seeing the yard full of happy riders, horses and ponies is what summer is all about.

We’ve added a selection of 90-minute hacks to our summer timetable for both adults and children.

A quick reminder that the Upton Blues Festival is taking place this weekend.

If you’re travelling to Court Equestrian from the Upton direction, please check your route before setting off, as there may be road closures and increased traffic throughout the weekend.

We recommend allowing a little extra time for your journey to help ensure you arrive in plenty of time for your lesson or activity.
