Lots of "gurus" are jumping on the AI bandwagon. 🤦🏼‍♂️

They're the same "gurus" I've watched jump on every emerging trend they can over the years simply to get bums on seats to sell the same stuff they've always sold. 🤣

I go to sources I trust. I go to sources of integrity. I go to where the big thinkers are.

My question to you is this: if I get one of them to come on a free-to-access call - and give you and the insight most people don't have regarding the practical reality of AI in our businesses - (and where it's heading) - are you in? 🤔

What is Persistence?

👉The kind that sticks two fingers up at adversity. The kind which knows no defeat. The kind which takes blow after blow, learns from each one, yet never allows a blow to be a knockout.
However bruised, however battered, we get up and get on with it - regardless.

☝️Grit isn't a "nice to have" in entrepreneurial life - it's a major differentiator between those who make it, and the many who don't.
I'm not suggesting it's always easy.

🤔Sometimes it's not only hard to draw from the "inner well" of spirited initiative and resourcefulness which makes us the "glass half full" entrepreneurs we are…
… sometimes it's hard to find the well at all.

🤦Shift days happen. And we all have days when things get on top of us… when our molehills feel like mountains.

🏋️It's not easy to see the upside when the downside is so obvious and overwhelming.

It's there, though, regardless. It can't not be there - there is always another side to every equation. There are no exceptions. This is a natural law expressing itself.
Imagine how much easier it is to persist if you have the awareness to remind yourself of this truth - and look for the upside in every blow.

Every entrepreneur's primary goal is to focus on the potential not performance.

What is the main difference between the two? 🤔

The answer to this question lies in how we perceive results.

✅ Your current results do not represent your potential, they represent your current awareness of your potential.

✅ Your existing results reflect the quality of your thinking that you brought to your
business and life up until this moment in time. And focusing on them will not improve them. In fact, it is likely to replicate them.

Here are some irrefutable facts about potential: 👇

💫Your potential is infinite. It manifests itself through your natural strengths and talents.

💫 Our ability to draw our infinite potential will always be found in areas where we are naturally gifted. There is no limit to what can be achieved in our natural giftedness if we have the will, discipline and persistence to make it happen.

💫 Your potential is a process of discovery. You might not be aware of your talent. Or maybe, you are aware of it, but you are not working at it to the degree that you should be. In any case, you believe there is more to your life.

💫 The expression of your potential comes down to your awareness of it. Your
current results reflect your current awareness of your potential. The more aware you become of your natural talents, the more capable you become of expressing more of your potential.

✅ Expanding your potential will help you bring the most cherished entrepreneurial and life goals to life.

✅ To be an effective coach doesn’t require you have to have outstanding results in every area of your life, we all have areas of our lives we could improve, it does, however, require you to be a growth-orientated person who is as committed to self-improvement and the raising of your own consciousness as you expect the clients you’ll serve to be.

💫Our character reveals itself in our behaviour. Think of how the word behave. It consists of two words - be and have. You have to be the coach in order to have the ability to coach others to greater success. This is what Goethe was referring to when he said, “Before you can do something, you first must be something”.

Your ability to influence others to greater success will be determined, to an enormous degree, by your ability to influence yourself to greater success. The most vital activity for a coach is not the honing of specific skills, but the continuous commitment to raising one’s own consciousness.

This is the most important… and most rewarding… activity in life for any human being. Sadly, most people remain completely oblivious to this great truth. You can’t afford to be one of them.

Why? Because you cannot give what you do not have. If you're not in the business of improving your own consciousness, you’ll be very limited in your ability to help others raise theirs.

💫The idea of influencing and impacting other people to live far more successful lives is very attractive, compelling and exciting for people drawn to the idea of Coaching at a professional level - it certainly was for me when I came into this industry at the beginning of this century.

However - and this is vitally important for you to grasp right up front - Coaching is NOT what most people think it is. 😬

Without doubt, Coaching is the most overused, misunderstood, misrepresented and abused word in the personal and organisational success sector.

The Coaching profession isn’t what it looks like from the outside.

The paradox of the Coaching profession is its growth has been exponential, a trend which is excitingly set to continue for many years to come…

… yet the Coaching industry has one of the worst business survival rates of all sectors, and the typical revenue generated by a business in this profession is alarmingly low.

The critical point for you to grasp at this juncture is this is not an industry in which to follow the herd…

It comes at a high price. In all business sectors this is true, not just the over-populated, "me -too" space of the Coaching profession.

I know the degree of authenticity, transparency and veracity I bring to my business life - sharing the "warts 'n' all" of my past and present.

It also put me at odds - and made me a misfit/black sheep - in certain communities I've served in the past - communities where culturally far more precedence is placed on sugar-coated falsity and pretence than authenticity, transparency and truth.
There's no "coincidence" in the fact I repel those who prescribe to such a way of living, and attract the very opposite.

Why?

✅Because the quality of question determines the quality of answer.

Which brings me nicely to the initial responses to the question I posed to you (and every other reader of my emails) earlier this week, namely:
If you had a $100,000 problem, and someone has a $5000 solution, would you buy it?" 🤔

Ironically, the question isn't as powerful as an open, explorative Coaching question - and it's closed nature requires only a "yes or no" rather than evoking inductive thinking…

… nonetheless, regardless of its' limitations, it was powerful enough to expose the BIG LESSON most of my industry colleagues find perpetually hard to grasp.

I am curious, what kind of questions do you ask yourself on a daily basis?

"I'm not broken... I'm not alone…"

These words echoed in Elouise Cloete's mind as she woke up one morning.

Little did she know that within a few hours, her life would take a wild turn—a burst ectopic pregnancy, internal bleeding, and a nerve-wracking emergency surgery to keep her alive. It was tough, but in the end, it brought her an incredible gift.

From her early days in South Africa, Elouise had this burning dream to make a difference. She doesn't know where it came from, maybe growing up taking care of her siblings and wanting to fix things when life got tough played a part.

Her home was a hotpot of emotions, with her dad's self-esteem struggles and high expectations. But even with all the tough times, she wanted to be the glue that held her family together, the one who could fix what was broken.

As her parents' marriage fell apart, she learned a big lesson—her own life didn't need to fall apart too.

Elouise travelled all across Europe, soaking in different cultures and trying to find her true calling.

Back in South Africa, she dipped her toes into the hospitality world. Climbing the ladder in corporate event management felt good, proving she could achieve big things. But deep down, there was a hunger for more, a search for her untapped potential.

When she reached the peak of her career, the call of entrepreneurship pulled her in, and the dream of building a family took the spotlight.

In just two years, Elouise created a booming corporate event management business with an awesome team. The challenges and lessons learned propelled her to new heights.

With her career going strong, it was time to focus on her long-awaited dream of having a family. Little did she know, this path would test her patience and strength in ways she never imagined.

Ten years, three months, twelve days, one heartbreaking miscarriage, one painful ectopic pregnancy, and four tough failed IVF cycles—an almost impossible journey. But through all the ups and downs, it led her to the most incredible joy—the day she held her beautiful daughter in her arms.

Being labelled as a woman who might never "carry her own child" is a tough thing to reconcile. How do you climb the metaphorical Mount Everest of life achievements, only to face a summit seemingly out of reach?

💫Today, as the sun sets on her challenging journey, Elouise finds peace in nature's embrace, losing herself in its soothing rhythms. The piano keys sing beneath her fingertips, a melody that goes beyond the struggles of the past.

Let’s consider humans as trifold beings: mind, body, spirit

Mind is movement. 💫

Body is a manifestation of that movement — body is an instrument of the mind. 👊

Because we are raised to operate mainly through our five physical senses, most human beings live as single-faceted creatures, they see themselves only as a body. Because they see, taste, touch and smell their body every day.

All the awareness is fixed on the lowest aspect of our nature. 👎

This is ignorance of self, and you don’t have to look very far for the evidence.

💫Once you understand, you are more than your body and mind, you begin to grow in your consciousness. The more conscious you become, the more you become a triple-faceted being.

Robin Melina Kinsman's childhood was a whirlwind, navigating eight different countries and cultures due to her father's foreign service job.

Despite the freedom of this nomadic lifestyle, she grappled with a profound sense of alienation, a theme that persisted into her adulthood.

The realisation of her disconnect hit home during a church event in Peru.
Although fluent in Spanish and well-versed in the country's history, Robin found herself an outsider when the priest emphasised cultural distinctions, leaving her in tears as she recognized her isolation.

At 25, she plunged into a marriage that contradicted her values, a decision she regretted but felt compelled to fulfil due to societal expectations.

The union proved unfulfilling, stifling her identity and potential, and forcing her into financial dependency.

Driven by a thirst for personal development, Robin pursued education, obtaining a Master's in Organisational Leadership and Behavioural Sciences. Despite starting as a receptionist in a bilingual school, this humble beginning became a stepping stone to diverse opportunities in international projects.

The turning point came with a job offer from both the American Embassy and the Central Bank of Chile. Choosing the latter for its better benefits, she inadvertently revealed the competing offer, resulting in the bank revoking its offer. This painful setback, while naive, catalysed Robin's self-discovery.

Freed from the confines of an unsuitable marriage, Robin embraced entrepreneurship, defying societal norms.

✅The journey was riddled with failed ventures, from coffee expertise to rooftop gardens, until she discovered her passion for helping others find their true path.

🌟Inspired by Howard Truman's quote—“Don't ask the world what it needs. Ask yourself what makes you feel alive”—Robin realised the essence of individuals defines their career. Her gift for connecting with people attracted those seeking guidance with resumes and career choices.

💫Passion became the foundation of her business, but criticism about ignoring the monetary aspect prompted a shift. Studying successful entrepreneurs, Robin learned to turn ideas into profits.

Eventually, she honed her coaching skills, gaining accreditation from the Conscious Coaching Academy (CCA), guiding young adults to align their life paths with their true selves.

Robin now laughs at past struggles, viewing them as valuable lessons that paved the way for her success. Embracing her sense of alienation, she advocates for forging one's path and understanding one's true identity instead of fitting in—an ethos she lives by and imparts to others. 🌟

… we must stop looking for solutions to our problems in places they can never be found. ⛔️

We must unlearn the deeply damaging consequences of a society deliberately designed to teach us what to think, not how to think.

We’re conditioned to conform, to follow the herd, to accept uncritically ideas we did not originate, and to not question those ideas. We pay an enormous price because of it. 😕

The insidious agenda to stupify the human race in the name of control has been at play for thousands of years.

Our man made, fear-based theological constructions have thrived for centuries on it. Today this agenda is stronger than ever.

We’re in decline. We’re dumbing down at the rate of knots. The attention deficit is falling off a cliff. Our mental capabilities are withering by the day. ⌳

We’re witnessing a reverse evolution.
An increasingly technologically advanced, consciously- re****ed species – a danger to itself and all other forms of life.

No other intervention elevates consciousness as profoundly

… yet sadly, very few who claim the title of “coach” are Coaching, and the Coach capable of Coaching at a consciousness-raising, transformative level is extremely rare.

Yet that’s exactly the reality we face.

Five hundred years before the birth of Christ the Buddha declared the human race faced one, single challenge.

A challenge that is the root cause of ALL the dysfunctional, life and performance detracting behaviours witnessed on this planet today.

Two and half thousand years later…

… we remain an unconscious species.

Today’s Coaching profession is not only failing its consumer base, it’s failing humanity. The proverbial blind leading the blind.

The most transformational process known to mankind is being lost in the malpractice, negligence, misrepresentation and violation at play in the Coaching profession today.

Our problems – whether at an individual, organisational, institutional, societal, cultural, international and global level – are a subset of issues stemming from the only challenge we face as a species:

𝐈𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞.

The bottom line?

We can never, and will never, overcome our most pressing problems at the same level of consciousness by which we created them.

Results, in every aspect of life, at an individual and collective level, are a direct consequence of the consciousness being expressed in each area.

This is the ultimate cause and effect relationship in life.

Make no mistake, this is more than just a performance issue. At a species level…
… this is the TRUE existential threat.
