Empathy Day is around the corner. Michael Rosen is leading a nationwide school empathy assembly. There are lots of other amazing authors, poets and illustrators involved over the day so make sure your school is registered. Info here: https://www.empathylab.uk/empathy-day-live

As SATs week approaches, we thought this was a lovely reminder for the children.

We shared it last year but it’s definitely worth another share.

This is exactly why I left teaching ten years ago. I was so very fortunate that I found Relax Kids at exactly the right time.
I will be forever grateful that for the last ten years I have been able to do all the bits of teaching that I loved, without the bits I didn’t!
Enjoy the Easter break everyone and I’ll see you in the Summer term x

💜 Trigger Warning - sad or upsetting news events 💜

It can be really difficult for children to learn of sad and upsetting news, as it can for us adults too.
I am so sad to hear about the awful car crash in Worcester yesterday and I am aware that children and adults in the area will have been affected by this. There are lots of organisations and support for children who find news distressing and also lots of support for children who are experiencing bereavement.

I hope this helps ###

If you are upset by the news, here is some advice to help you.

Happy Winnie the Pooh Day!

Today, let's celebrate the timeless charm and wisdom of A.A. Milne's beloved bear and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood.

Winnie the Pooh has been a source of joy and inspiration for generations, teaching us valuable lessons about friendship, kindness, and the simple joys of life.

So, whether you're revisiting the classic stories or introducing them to a new generation, may your day be filled with the warmth and fun that only the world of Winnie the Pooh can bring.

Have great day everyone! 💜
