Now that the World Cup has come to an end, we want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped support our team throughout the week. ❤️

To all of our coaches – thank you for the time, energy and commitment you gave to our athletes. From preparing them before their events, warming them up, keeping them focused, sitting in the coaching chair and being there afterwards, your support made such a difference.

And a massive thank you to all of our parents and supporters. Competing at a World Cup isn’t just about the athlete stepping onto the mats. Behind every competitor there are people carrying bags, finding food, keeping track of schedules, calming nerves, celebrating the highs, picking people up after the disappointments and making sure everyone gets where they need to be. We couldn’t have done it without you.

A particularly special thank you has to go to Penni, who found herself becoming our team physio for the week! 😂❤️

Penni spent so much of the competition helping to keep athletes going – strapping, taping, looking after sore, broken and tired bodies and generally being there whenever somebody needed help. She gave up so much of her own time to look after everyone, and it was hugely appreciated by athletes and coaches alike.

World Cups are long, exhausting and sometimes chaotic, but having such a supportive group of people around the team made an enormous difference.

The medals and results belong to the athletes, but there is always a much bigger team standing behind every performance.

Thank you to every coach, parent and supporter who was part of ours. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without you. 🥋❤️
