🏆🏊‍♀️ Gold for King’s St Alban’s! 🏊‍♂️🥇

We are delighted to share that King’s St Alban’s has been awarded the Gold National President’s Award by the English Schools’ Swimming Association (English Schools’ Swimming ), recognising our commitment to swimming across the school.

Swimming is an important part of life at KSA. From Nursery through to Year 6, every pupil has regular swimming lessons, developing confidence, water safety, fitness and a lifelong enjoyment of the sport. Our onsite 25m pool hosts a range of activities alongside regular lessons, including hosting swimming galas, and a mix of before-and-after school clubs further allowing pupils to develop their skills.

Swimming at KSA is about more than what happens in the pool. Our pupils regularly use their swimming skills to take part in charity events and fundraising challenges, supporting local organisations and making a positive difference in the wider community.

This award recognises the dedication of our pupils and staff and the part they have played in making swimming such an important part of school life.

From our youngest swimmers taking their first strokes to our older pupils competing on the national stage, we are proud of everyone involved.

Yesterday was A Level results day at King’s Worcester, and it was wonderful to see so many King’s St Alban’s alumni celebrating another year of outstanding achievement.

This year, our students completed an impressive 427 A Levels, alongside a range of additional qualifications, including the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).

Their results are a reflection of their hard work, ambition and commitment, as well as the breadth of opportunities they have embraced through our extensive enrichment programme. These experiences have helped them develop the skills, confidence and independence needed for life beyond school.

Students are now heading on to an exciting range of destinations, including leading universities, while a record number have secured degree apprenticeships with top organisations.

We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved. Their success is a testament to their dedication and the strong foundations they built during their time at King’s St Alban’s.

As part of our Pre-Prep Summer Show, our Pre-School pupils celebrated the end of their nursery journey with a wonderful Prize Giving Ceremony, marking this important milestone before their exciting next step into Reception.

Each pupil was presented with a certificate by our Headmaster, Mr Hawker, recognising the unique qualities that make them so special. Awards celebrated a wonderful range of achievements, from kindness and creativity to fantastic imagination, being a brilliant listener and so much more.

We are incredibly proud of everything our Pre-School pupils have accomplished this year. Watching them grow in confidence, curiosity and independence has been a joy, and we can’t wait to see them flourish as they begin their Reception adventure.

Speech Day was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our leaving Year 6 pupils, while also recognising those pupils across the Prep School who have truly stood out throughout the year.
