Welcome to Summer Term 2! ☀️

It has been wonderful to welcome both our returning children and some new friends to Pre-School this week. We have loved seeing friendships blossom, children learning together, and everyone settling into our exciting new term.

There is an exciting event happening on Saturday 6th June at Worcester Woodland Explorers if you are looking for some weekend woodland fun 🌳☺️

What a fantastic week we have had at Pre-School ☀️

The children have enjoyed so many fun activities, explored new experiences, and made lots of happy memories together. From creative play and outdoor adventures to singing, learning and laughter. It has been a wonderful way to end our half term.

Thank you to all of our families for your continued support- we hope everyone has a lovely, restful half term break and we look forward to seeing you all again soon! ☺️

A big thankyou to PC Stanley and PCSO Emeny from Kempsey & Alfrick Safer Neighbourhood Team who visited us at Pre-School this morning. The children loved meeting you, learning about your role in helping our community and having the chance to ask lots of questions! 🚔

The children have been learning all about life on the farm! 🚜🐄🐑

We have explored different farm animals, talked about where food comes from, and discovered what farmers do to care for animals and crops. The children enjoyed imaginative play, sensory activities, creative crafts and a local walk all linked to our farm theme.

It has been wonderful to hear the children sharing their own experiences and using lots of new vocabulary throughout their play and learning. 🎋🐖🐓

Our preschool junk modelling area is running low, and we’d love your help to restock it! 💛

Junk modelling is a fantastic way for children to get creative, build, explore, and use their imagination 🌈

We are looking for clean recyclable items such as:
🧻 Toilet roll & kitchen roll tubes
📦 Cardboard boxes (any size)
🥚 Egg boxes
🧴 Plastic bottles & lids
🥣 Yoghurt pots & food containers (washed)
🔵 Bottle tops
📄 Cardboard packaging & trays

Please make sure all donations are:
✔ Clean
✔ Dry
✔ Safe for little hands

You can bring donations in at drop-off or pick-up times and hand them to a member of staff.

💚 The Preschool Team

This week at Pre-School we have been exploring the wonderful world of lifecycles and all the changes that happen during springtime. From tiny seeds growing into plants to tadpoles transforming into frogs 🐸 The children have been fascinated by how living things grow and change.

It has been a wonderful opportunity to encourage curiosity, language and understanding the world around us. 🐛🦋🌸

Today we say a sad goodbye to our amazing Mrs Clark as she leaves Pre-School 💛

Thank you for everything you have given to our setting — your constant positivity, your warm smile, and the way you made everyone feel valued and supported every single day. You have been such a special part of our Pre-School, and it just won’t be the same without you.

The children, staff, and families all adore you, and your kindness and happiness have left a lasting mark on us all.

We wish you all the happiness and success in your next chapter.

You will be truly missed 💫

Easter stay and play fun!

We had such a lovely time at our stay and play session. It was wonderful to welcome our families into our setting to join in the fun.

The children looked absolutely fantastic in their creative Easter bonnets during our parade, so much effort and imagination went into making them so a big well done to you all!
