Augustus II is reported to have between 340 and 380 children!!! He was a busy boy. Although I don’t think he was heavily involved with the child rearing, just the creation part.

Here’s a picture of Augustus II the Strong - Elector of Saxony from 1694 as well as King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania from 1697 to 1706 and from 1709 until his death in 1733.

We had a little look around his gaff yesterday. Without researching it - guess how many children he had….
