We want to replace these beautiful wooden armchairs with softer seating in our library so we are looking for a new home for them! They are solid wood, have hidden storage (will be empty) and are in good condition. We would love to sell them so we can use the money to buy new softer seating and make our library even more welcoming and comfortable for children to read in. Mrs Norris and all the staff at St George's would like to wish you a very happy and restful summer break.

We would also like to say a huge thank you for all the cards, flowers and gifts staff have received over the past week. Your kindness and generosity are greatly appreciated.

Finally, we would like to take a moment to wish all the children who are starting a new school in September every success and happiness for the future. We would also like to wish Mrs Norris and Mrs Cox a very happy retirement, and Miss Palmer all the very best with her upcoming studies.

⭐ School Tours for Reception 2027 ⭐

We are pleased to share details of the school tours available for parents of children starting Reception in September 2027.

We are also delighted to advise that we will be hosting an open morning on Saturday 26th September from 9.00am to 11.00am.

St George’s Summer Fair is coming soon! 12:00 til 4:00 pm on Saturday 11 July. We can’t wait to see you there!

w/c 6th July is Sports Week in school!
The week will begin with our annual Sports Morning, followed by a range of fun activities throughout the week, including cricket, tennis and volleyball.

A polite reminder that if you wish to attend our sports morning, please ensure you have completed the relevant Parentmail form by 3.00pm on Friday 3rd July, so that an attendance register can be created for safeguarding purposes.

A polite reminder that the school is closed to pupils tomorrow for staff training.

❗❗Summer Fayre Postponed❗❗

Due to the forecast temperature on Thursday, which is now expected to reach up to 37°C, we have taken the decision to postpone the Summer Fayre.

As a result, we kindly ask that donations of cakes and teddy bears are not brought into school this week.

We are currently exploring alternative dates for the fayre and will share further information in due course.
