This little one really enjoyed the Summer Fete!
It’s lovely seeing all the pics of the children and how much fun they had.

Wise owls have been learning all about food this week!
They have enjoyed some cooking where they have learned some cutting skills while making their exotic fruit skewers! Wise owls also baked some cupcakes for the nursery’s first summer fete!
They enjoyed our activity where we drew our own shopping lists and coloured them in, however they also had lots of fun going to Mini golf!

Last week in Little Owls we explored lots of activities relating to summer holidays! ☀️
We explored a sand tracing tray where we practiced tracing different shapes and patterns, created a collage rainbow shape where we matched tissue paper to the colours of the rainbow and had a lemonade making stand!
Little Owls particularly enjoyed our washing line activity where we washed the clothes and used pegs to put them on the lines! 🧼

Fledglings have had a camping week. 🏕️
This week we have had a woodland tuff tray and an Ice lolly tuff tray.

Over the past 2 weeks Hatchlings have been exploring Holidays. ☀️
We have looked at beach holidays and camping!
We've explored a beach tuff tray, made ice creams with shaving foam and found the shells amongst the shredded paper.
For camping we have created a baby band using pots and pans, sang songs around a "campfire" and made hot chocolate!

Holiday Club have been super duper busy over the past 2 weeks.
The children have been amazing and we hope they have enjoyed their busy days with us.
Thursday was so hot as we all know, so the children had a water fight! 💦

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been observing some Pidgeon's making a nest in the tree outside.
On Monday, we noticed an egg stuck in the branches.
We have rescued the egg and is now in an incubator!
We will be watching over the next few weeks!
