Adult School of Acting 🎭

A quiet but eclectic session this evening! We chose monologues for the upcoming showcase, explored a bit of Physical Theatre and got stuck into some script work - what more could you ask for on a Tuesday evening?

Tonight we carried on looking at Laban’s movement efforts and how simply changing the way you move can completely change a character or a scene.
Some really fantastic practical work tonight — Richard was genuinely impressed with everyone!🤩

Thursday School Class Snaps 📸🎭

A fantastical evening full of energy and awesomeness!! ✨
In Acting the students were focussing on physicality and in Musical Theatre they were looking at characterisation through song and the importance of expression.
Some amazing work from both groups! 🖤💙

Adult School of Acting 🎭

Some fabulous work this evening! 👏 Tonight we explored voice and physicality, borrowing ideas from Linklater and Laban – working on our natural voice before trying out Press, Float and Flick and seeing what happened when we brought them into our characters.
Some unusual concepts that the actors approached beautifully!

See you next week...
