🎤 Singing Lessons - September Spaces

A little information for parents at Clifton-upon-Teme Primary School, Martley Primary School and The Chantry School 🎶

We’re currently putting together our lesson schedules for the new academic year and have a few singing lesson spaces available from September.

We’re aware that information about lessons may not have reached all parents, so we wanted to make sure anyone interested has the opportunity to get in touch before our September schedules are finalised.

Lessons take place during the school day, at school, so there’s no need to fit another activity into busy evenings!

🎹 Who says piano lessons have to be all about pressing keys? 🎶

One of the most important skills every musician develops is rhythm... but that doesn't mean it has to be taught sitting at the piano the whole time!

Here, Alby is working on his sight-reading skills using our rather brilliant lollipop drum. 🍭🥁 It's a fantastic way to practise rhythm away from the keyboard, and the best part? No matter how enthusiastically it's played, it won't burst anyone's eardrums! 😄

At LP Music Tuition, we love finding creative, hands-on ways to make learning fun, engaging and memorable. Sometimes stepping away from the piano for a few minutes is exactly what helps a new skill click into place.

Because when pupils are smiling, laughing and actively involved, they're often learning more than they even realise.

A huge congratulations to Joe on achieving a DISTINCTION in his Grade 2 Piano exam - an outstanding result and a real testament to the hard work and dedication he's put into his playing. 👏🎹

One of the questions we're often asked is, "Does piano mean learning only classical music?" The answer is... not at all!

While we also offer the traditional ABRSM pathway, many of our pupils choose to work towards RSL (Rockschool) exams, which feature an exciting mix of rock, pop, film, country, blues, jazz, contemporary and more. Pupils can learn music they genuinely enjoy, making lessons engaging, motivating and great fun, while still developing excellent technique, musicianship and performance skills.

At LP Music Tuition, we believe every child learns differently, so we tailor lessons to their interests and goals. Whether they dream of performing Beethoven, playing film soundtracks, or rocking out to their favourite songs, there's an exam pathway to suit them.

Congratulations to Charlie on achieving his Bronze ABRSM Music Medals Award!

A fantastic achievement and a well-deserved recognition of all the hard work he's been putting into his piano playing. Well done, Charlie!

ABRSM Music Medals are a brilliant option for younger pupils, offering a positive and encouraging way to celebrate progress. As well as preparing a solo performance, pupils also develop valuable ensemble skills by performing with their teacher during the assessment.

Did you know? Laura at LP Music Tuition is a trained ABRSM Music Medals Assessor, making these assessments an excellent stepping stone for young musicians as they build confidence before progressing to graded exams.

🌟 A huge congratulations to Violet! 🌟

We are so proud to share that Violet has achieved a DISTINCTION in her Grade 5 RSL Vocals exam! 🎤🏆

Achieving a Grade 5 Distinction at just 11 years old is a fantastic accomplishment and reflects the dedication, hard work and musical maturity Violet has shown throughout her lessons.
Preparing for a Grade 5 exam takes real commitment, from developing strong vocal technique to performing with confidence, and Violet has worked incredibly hard to achieve this result. We are absolutely delighted for her and couldn't be prouder.

A huge thank you to her fantastic singing teacher, Katie, whose expert tuition, encouragement and support have helped Violet reach this milestone. We feel incredibly lucky to have Katie as part of the LP Music Tuition team, and we're so proud of everything she helps our students achieve. ❤️
