Join us for a story, some songs and play!

Start to develop your small ones imagination through stories and music. Each week we will have a new book to explore, songs to sing, sensory activities and free play. You will get the chance to meet others and enjoy a cuppa in our relaxed group.

Sessions run for 45 minutes and include refreshments (hot and cold drinks and a biscuit or two 😉) They are mixed age sessions and suitable from birth to 4.

Numbers are limited so pre-booking is needed

Taster sessions are £2.50
Pay as you go - £5.50
Block of 4 sessions - £20

I was so busy having fun I didn't get any photos of today's new session 🙈 but I really enjoyed meeting everyone today ☺️

I will be making some changes to the sessions going forward (mainly changing the ages split, and having all ages sessions) the website / booking site will be updated later today...

But I would love some timings feedback... Should we keep the 10.15 or the 11.15 session time?

My plan is to eventually introduce an afternoon session too, but for now it will be mornings, I'd love to know which time slot would works best!

That's right, to celebrate the launch of our toddler sessions both babies and toddlers will be free to attend next week!

Baby sessions will be Monday at 10.15
Toddler Sessions will be Monday at 11.15

OCTOBER SESSIONS! 🎃🍂🍁

We will be seeing the launch of our Toddler Sessions this month!

Next week we have some free taster Sessions!!

Mondays - 10.15am will be baby sessions, these are suitable, roughly, from birth until walking

Mondays - 11.15am will be toddler sessions, these will be suitable for those walking and older

We also have some specials coming up -

Monday 24th will be an all age session for half term (my little one will be coming to help!) So school age siblings will be able to join us too.

Halloween Specials! At the same time as our usual sessions but with some extra spooktacular fun! More details about all the specials will be coming out soon.

All sessions will take place at All Sorts of Performing Arts - Medway Community Center, Worcester. Please do share with friends and family with small ones.

The main reason I decided to start Once Upon a Story was to offer a welcoming and judgement free space for fellow parents to meet.

I found the early days of parenting (and many of the later days too, if I'm being honest) tough going. The isolation, the feeling of being needed constantly, and the sleep deprivation really played a part in my poor mental wellness at that time... Baby groups became my favourite time of the week. Some time out of the house, with others was exactly what was needed for me.

Our baby sessions focus on you, not just the little ones. Yes we have songs and stories for them, but we also have time for you! A hot drink, a chance to chat with others, a sweet treat (or two, honestly judgement free zone!) So why not have some time for you with your small ones? We'd love to welcome you to a session, you can try a session for £3.50, and you can book online or email [email protected]
