Lowesmoor Nursery and Preschool

Our first room in the new building is now fully ready for September. This room is our ‘Cruisers’ room for children aged 1 to 2. It has its own play room, kitchen, sleep room, changing room and access to the garden. It’s also right next door to the softplay. This room is fully booked for the next year and has two spaces available from August/September 2027. The next room to open in this building will be our baby room ‘Dreamers’ which opens in January. Update photos on the ‘Dreamers’ room will be coming soon.

Mrs Everett has been very busy in the garden this summer. She has completely changed the look and feel of our outside space by adding some greenery to cover the wall and by giving each area a makeover. There are beautiful metallic insects hiding in the leaves on the wall as well as a huge music area that we know the children will love. The shelter has some new bunting, hanging decorations and Solar lights. The play houses and benches have been painted and we now have a sensory planting area. Mrs Everett tells me she hasn’t finished yet but I think it looks amazing and I needed to share it with you. Even when nursery is closed the staff give up their time to make these changes for the children and I am extremely grateful for this.

At Lowesmoor nursery we offer parents the option of signing their child up to some amazing extra curricular activities. The companies we use for these are very carefully chosen to provide activities which enrich the children’s nursery experience. This years offering through the nursery is:
Monday - translucent dance company
Tuesday - AJB sports in education

Thursday - ‘Shake Rattle and Groove’ music
Friday - Forest School
We also have regular sessions at Worcester Woodland Explorers.

We have the following spaces available for a September start

Dreamers (babies) 2 spaces
Cruisers (age 1-2) 1 space
Explorers (age 2) no spaces currently but a new explorers room will open in February which will open up 8 places
Adventurers (2 years 9 months +) 3 spaces
Preschool 1 space

These spaces can be full year (48 weeks) or term time (38 weeks). We open at 7.30am and close at 5.00pm

Bouncy castle for sale - commercial grade
Now that we have our softplay installed we are selling our bouncy castle. This castle is in really good condition and comes with a blower and mats. £500 cash on collection

Preschool put on an amazing show tonight! They were all very brave on the stage and showed their parents and us how talented they are! We are all so proud of them all. Now that we have finished our graduation celebration there’s only one thing left to do … party!!!! See you all for a full day party on Monday

The countdown is on…

It’s getting hotter over the next few days. We are keeping activities calm and the rooms cool to help the children (and staff) to cope with the heat.

Preschool spent the whole day at the forest school site today. They were very busy all day with all of the activities Mrs Everett had set up for them. This week she also introduced the slackline across the trees. The slackline encourages the children to take physical risks while developing their core strength, improving coordination and building their spatial awareness.

Today is our first ‘Stay and Play’ for our September starters. There will be new children in all of the rooms in the main building but we are also able to invite in our under twos in to the new building. We have one room ready for September and we can’t wait to see it busy with children and their parents. The photos below is our ‘Cruisers’ room for 6 children aged 1 to 2 years.
