We’re excited to welcome back the brilliant Dazzles, who always put on an amazing disco for the children 🎧✨

There’ll be plenty to enjoy on the night, so don’t forget to send your child with a little spending money if you can:

As always, every ticket and tuck shop purchase helps raise money for Broadheath PTA and directly supports projects and equipment for the children in school 💛

Wow! We are so grateful for all of your support and the PTA’s continued efforts to raise money. You have no idea how much this will help us. We have struggled with laptops for such a long time- this is like a lottery win! 🥳

🎉 We did it! Phase 1 complete! 🎉

Thanks to your incredible support, we’ve officially hit (and beaten!) our ICT fundraising goal for this academic year!! 🥳

💻 21 new laptops delivered to Broadheath CE Primary School (15 pupil laptops and 6 teaching laptops)

Including the 4 iPads that PTA funded last summer, that’s a total of 25 new devices for the school in the past 12 months 🤯

That means we’ve absolutely SMASHED our target of 20 devices this year 👏

The impact of this just can’t be overstated - it will make a real difference to both the children’s learning and the staff’s ability to teach effectively. The new pupil laptops mean:

• Every class can now work at a minimum of 1 laptop between 2 pupils
• Some smaller classes can now access 1 laptop per child (with refurbished devices included)

🙏 Thank you to every single person who supported events, donated, shared posts, volunteered, match funded or got involved in any way. This genuinely wouldn’t have happened without you.

🚀 What next?
Next year, we’ll be working towards phase 2 of this project; providing higher-spec laptops for KS2, helping prepare pupils ahead of high school.
Research shows the gap between pupils with strong access to technology and those without is still a real issue in education. That means some children start secondary school far more confident with digital skills than others - by investing in devices now, we’re helping make sure Broadheath pupils don’t get left behind.
The current devices are perfect for KS1 and are a great stepping stone, but we want to keep building on this progress 💪

But for now, let's take a moment to appreciate what a brilliant thing we’ve achieved together! Well done Broadheath fam 💙🤩

The Broadheath & Marie Curie Mini Marathon Mile raised a staggering £3494!! 😱🥳👏🏻

We are absolutely blown away by this result and are so incredibly proud of our students, especially those who stepped outside their comfort zone to seek sponsorships from local businesses, showing real confidence, courage and initiative 💙

A HUGE thank you from Lorna and the PTA to all our Broadheath families who took part, we cannot express how grateful we are and what a difference this will make to our fundraising targets 🥲🤩

One thing we love is a challenge! While Lorna takes on her own ultimate challenge running the London marathon, the children ran a sponsored mile.
It was a great atmosphere and the children … and staff did brilliantly. 💙

Hi everyone, just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU for your children’s epic participation in today's mile run. They all absolutely smashed it - cheering each other on, running with huge smiles... it was truly heartwarming! A massive credit to them & you all as parents for fostering such awesome kids. Deffo some future marathon runners 🏃 🏃‍♀️& cheerleaders. It was a great atmosphere!
