We have a vacancy for a Caretaker / Site Technician

Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for a dedicated, hands-on person to join our Trust estates team here at Honeywell Primary School. If you take pride in keeping things running smoothly and enjoy practical, varied work, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

As our new Caretaker/Site Technician, you’ll help keep our school safe, secure, and well-maintained — from everyday repairs and maintenance to compliance checks and supporting exciting development projects.

What we’re looking for:
A practical, can-do person with good DIY/handyman skills 🔧
Someone who enjoys working with others — from school staff to contractors
An understanding of (or willingness to learn about) Health & Safety practices
Previous experience in a similar setting would be great — but it’s not essential. We’ll provide full training and ongoing support.

Children are welcome to wear PE kits again. please remember to send them with a drinks bottle that they can refill, a sun hat and sun cream applied before school. ☀️

Good luck to our year 6's who are at CWLC today. Enjoy your day, and don't forget to be in PE kits!

The forecast for tomorrow (Monday) predicts that the temperature will be in the region of 31˚. Children are therefore welcome to wear their PE kits for the day. If their PE kits are in school, please send them in school uniform and they can change upon arrival. Please ensure your child has their water bottle and sun hat and has had sun cream applied before they get to school.

Looking forward to seeing you all later at Spud Club.

This week we have Kate from the WEST mental health team joining us. Kate works in school regularly and can support your children with many difficulties they may be facing. Feel free to pop along and speak with her and get a free jacket potato for tea whilst there 🥔
