Pre school children got to use their workshop today for the first time. Giving preschool children the chance to safely use real tools like hammers and screwdrivers helps build confidence, coordination, and problem-solving skills. With adult supervision, hands-on activities in our workshop encourage independence, creativity, and a strong sense of achievement, while teaching important safety skills too.

Another great morning in forest school with pre school this morning. We had a fire and toasted some marshmallows, this is so much fun but importantly the children are learning about building their own confidence and responsibility. This is done by. Children learning to follow clear safety rules. They develop trust in themselves by handling real tools and real risks.plus they are taking part in lighting, tending, or extinguishing a fire builds a strong sense of achievement. 🔥🥢🌳
