Hi friends, I have to share this to make as many people as possible aware of this pattern scam happening currently. I kept getting emails from angry customers who thought I had scammed them. But, none of the patterns they were talking about were mine, I was very confused at what was happening. After some deep dive into this and help from some people who were scammed with these AI patterns, I realised that there is a website out there, using similar name to mine (not same so I can't really report them). They seem to be selling AI generated patterns and give no contact details, so when people Google their name, instead they find me and think that I am the one who has sold them these patterns. I get it, but it's heartbreaking. I don't know what I can do about it, other than try to make more people aware of this. I don't know if the patterns on the site are stolen, I think they are just AI generated, so it's hard to report them for copyright etc... if you have any ideas what to do, please let me know. But even if you don't, please tell your crochet friends to look out for this site at least. I am sure it's not the only one unfortunately.

I have been admiring this skein for long enough now, what shall I make out of it? It's 4ply, 100g and 75% merino/25% nylon

I wonder why it is that some designs never get to pattern phase... I made this last summer and even did photoshoot but then probably got distracted and that was it! I still quite like it and the way its made, maybe it just hasn't been the right time for this make 🤔
