Celebrate Chinese New Year with our preschoolers

The children are learning about how Mary and Joseph travel to Bethlehem, and baby Jesus in born in a stable. The angels announcing the news, and the shepherds and wise men visit him.

Autumn fine motor activities.

Pumpkin exploration in our mud kitchen with a variety of tools, leaves and acorns. We have been using scissors to cut out autumn leaves and using the hole punches to create designs on paper leaves. The favourite activity of the week has been using the golf tees to hammer into the pumpkins.

We had a quacking time today when Darcy and Waddle came for a visit.
