✨ Potty & Toilet Training Support for Families.

There comes a time for all of our families to begin thinking about toilet training. Perhaps you’re considering when to start, thinking ahead to the future, or you’ve already started and your child is finding it a little tricky.

Are you unsure when the right time is to begin? Not quite sure how to get started? Or would you simply like some extra guidance and reassurance along the way? Please know that you don’t have to do it alone!

Every child is different, and toilet training can take time, patience and plenty of encouragement.

We will work closely with you at nursery to provide consistent support, routines and encouragement, helping your child to feel confident and comfortable as they develop their toileting independence.

If you have started toilet training and your child is struggling, please don’t worry. We can work together to understand what they may be finding difficult and agree on strategies that we can use consistently at nursery and at home. If you would like some additional support, advice or simply want to talk things through, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

Our Zen Garden at SSN Worcester has had a glow-up! ✨

A big thank you to Meg for upgrading this peaceful space into an inviting environment filled with opportunities to explore, create and unwind.

The children can discover shimmering metallic swirls using mica powder jars, care for the newly planted sunflowers, explore thoughtfully selected tuff trays, create imaginative potions and relax with a book in the cosy reading area.

We can’t wait to see where their curiosity takes them!

REMINDER: Accessing funding from 1 September?

If you would like to access your Working Parent funding entitlement starting from 1 September, you must apply through the Government’s Childcare Service and obtain a valid eligibility code by 31 August.

We strongly recommend applying now / 4 weeks before the deadline. This allows time to complete the application and resolve any issues that may arise ✨

To apply, you will need to:

✅Create or log in to your Childcare Account
✅Complete the eligibility questions
✅Receive your eligibility decision
✅Obtain your 11-digit eligibility code
✅Give the code to your Nursery Manager, who will check its validity using the ✅Government’s eligibility checking system

Please don’t leave your application until the deadline ✨The deadlines are strict (31st August deadline for 1st September : 31st December deadline for 1st January : 31st March deadline for 1st April each year)
