She will talk to us about her journey to become an author, her children's book about a neurodivergent dog and chat to parents about their experience of neurodivergence. ✨️
Meeting our students where they are...
And NOT the other way round.
In schooling, our young people have to conform with what is planned and expected of them.
As a Validate learner, this is not necessary- we adapt to them and meet them where they are.
Two examples:-
✨️ C was tired and cold from a day at school. They changed into some cosy clothes and flopped onto a beanbag with a blanket.
Learning STILL took place 🙌
✨️H was not keen on the topic which was planned. We pivoted and adapted and changed the plan.

Our last Parent Support Group of the year is on Thursday the 18th.
We will have a Christmas theme and parents/carers are welcome to bring Christmas nibbles to share 🎄
