📢 We’re reopening applications – Join the afPE Tutor Workforce!

afPE is seeking experienced tutors to join our Tutor Workforce, supporting the delivery of the new Primary School Physical Education Specialism Course across the country.

This exciting opportunity is ideal for educators who are passionate about high-quality Physical Education and committed to developing the next generation of practitioners.

Tutors will play a pivotal role in delivering rich and engaging learning experiences for delegates enrolled on this new qualification, helping to strengthen primary PE provision nationwide.

We are welcoming applications from experienced practitioners for both Lead Tutor and Support Tutor roles.

• Complete the application form with clear responses to the questions provided

📢 Important update: PE and Sport Premium

The Department for Education has announced an increase to the one-off transition payment for the 2026/27 academic year, rising from £100 million to £150 million.

The announcement also includes information on:
• Funding allocations
• When schools will receive the funding
• Partnership network delivery from April 2027
• Publication of updated guidance
