Cherry Tree Nursery & Preschool

The children have spent sometime reviewing the fruits, vegetables and herbs we planted a couple of months ago. The children have been so excited to see a strawberry turn from green to red over only a few days. The children cannot wait to dig the potatoes up and we most definitely will be using the mint, chives and coriander in some of our cooking activities. In two weeks we will also look at the progression of the peppers and tomato’s. Did you know we are also growing a cherry tree? We couldn’t have a vegetable patch without one, gifted from one of our parents a year ago! Is your pre schooler interested in growing and cooking, looking for a nursery come September? World Culture day 21st May. The children and staff celebrated all the different cultures we have within our Nursery setting by dressing in different cultured dress wear and making different foods from around the world. The children even found the flags from where their families originate from. Was such a great day of celebrations.

Today we played with lots and lots of water play. The children enjoyed the new water tunnel in the garden and splashing in the puddles! We still have availability for September intake. Book in your nursery tour today.
