For 2026 Surfing Woolacombe had the opportunity to expand and become much bigger. After careful consideration, and talking to our loyal Customers and friends of the Surf School we decided that doing so would compromise the personal, bespoke experience our customers have come to expect from us.

Staying the size we are wasn’t a limitation—it was a advantage. A choice to prioritise quality over quantity, relationships over numbers, and genuine customer care over rapid growth.

We believe after seeing and talking to our customers and friends over this half term it was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made, both for our business and for the people who choose to surf with us.

Because when it comes to great experiences, bigger isn’t better. Personal is better.
