St James Church Pre-School A small church based committee run preschool in the heart of Woodley. A perfect start for your child. We also offer 30 hour funding.

Registration

A child may be registered on the waiting list at any age. There is currently a surge in demand for pre-school places within Woodley so we would advise early registration. Children may start St James’ Pre-School from the age of 2 years if parents feel they are ready. To help their child settle, a parent is welcome to stay for all or part of a session if they wish. We follow the Early

Years Foundation Stage Curriculum set by the government. Some children stay with us until they start Reception (Foundation 2). Cost

If your child starts pre-school before the age of 3 years, the fees are £16 a session for the September 2021. When children reach 3 years of age by the start of a term, they are then funded by Wokingham Borough Council for up to 15 hours a week. Some 2 year olds are also funded according to social circumstances. Funding may be split between 2 settings. Take a look

Our little learners have been thinking all about their hopes and dreams for the future! 💛

Today they proudly held up signs sharing what they would like to be when they grow up. From firefighters and doctors to princesses, police officers and so much more, it was wonderful to hear all of their exciting aspirations. ✨

We love encouraging our children to dream big, believe in themselves, and know that they can achieve anything they set their minds to. We are so proud of each and every one of them! 💙

We have spaces for 2,3 and 4 year olds, where we have qualified, experienced and caring Early Years Staff to look after and educate your children. All funding accepted.
