We are seeking a candidate for the role of the Deputy Manager to assist the Nursery Manager to provide professional leadership and management of this busy nursery and to help ensure that all children receive the highest standards of care and education.

In the absence of the Nursery Manager, the Deputy will undertake the overall day- to- day management of the nursery.

You will hold a full and relevant qualification in Early Years at Level 3 or above, understand and ensure the requirements of the EYFS and Ofsted are met and have experience working in a busy nursery setting in a leadership position.

ECP PHOTOGRAPHERS: Don't forget to bring in those lovely cheeky smiles with you on WEDNESDAY 20th FEBRUARY as the photographers are joining us @ Little Ducklings from 8.30-12.30 to capture those lovely cheeky moments!! All children in on this day will be photographed individually and with siblings. However, if this is not your usual day and you wish your child to be photographed then you are welcome to take up this opportunity if you come in between 8.30-9.30, you should be photographed asap. Should you have any queries please speak to a member of staff. Happy Snapping!!!

Its party time again at Little Ducklings!
This year we will be holding our Halloween parties and fancy dress competition over a period of 3 days giving a vast majority of our children an opportunity to take part in our Halloween Fun Days.

These will be held on :

Tuesday 30th October
Wednesday 31st October
and Thursday 1st November
So get your costumes ready to take part in some spooky fun👻👻👻!!

Two winners from each room will be selected for best costume awards. All winners will be announced next week.
Hope you can all participate and join in on some Halloween fun.

It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Pat Stocks, a beloved member of our Ducklings team who sadly lost her two year courageous battle to Cancer and sadly passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by her family and loved ones. Pat was a valued member of our team who joined Little Ducklings when it first opened its doors over 25 years ago. Although she officially retired in 2007 Pat continued to help and support us when we needed. I am sure many of you know Pat and will agree she was a fantastic practitioner and was loved by each and every child whom she worked with. As well as a work colleague Pat was also a very dear friend, a kind, loving , caring and a true Inspirational individual who will be missed dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with Pats family at this devastating time and hope they are able to find peace and comfort in the fond memories she has left behind.

🎓🎓🎓🎓A Huge Thank-you To ALL of our parents who attended our 👩🏽‍🎓👨🏼‍🎓Graduation Ceremony today... well what can i say... it was very emotional moment and very hard to hold back the tears as our Penguins did us proud. A truly amazing event,i am so very proud of my team, my children and our amazing parents! As sad as it is to say good bye to our children, such events make it all so worthwhile. Thank-you all for everything.... this is why we do what we do!!!! 😍😍😍

Don’t forget its ‘the’ day... as our little pre-school cherubs in Penguins end their journey with us at Little Ducklings and say their good-byes as they prepare to start ‘Big School’.

To mark this occasion we will be holding a Graduation Ceremony for ALL our Pre school children starting school in September and invite all you mummies and daddies to help us congratulate and celebrate this auspicious moment. 👩🏽‍🎓🎓👨🏼‍🎓 we look forward to seeing you all there.😀
