We currently have limited spaces available for our after-school club, including collection from **St Andrew’s School**.

Children can stay with us until **6pm**, with a light evening meal included.

Lots of lovely activities our Bambis have enjoyed! Every day we are developing both fine and gross motor skills, building rich language, encouraging turn-taking, and so much more.

What might look like a simple activity is actually a wonderful learning opportunity, full of new experiences, exploration, problem-solving, creativity, and confidence-building. Every moment is carefully planned to support each child's development while making learning fun. The list of skills being nurtured really is endless, and we love watching our little learners grow through play.

**🌊 Ocean Explorers – Learning Through Play 🐠🎨🌸**

Today our little learners enjoyed a range of exciting, hands-on activities inspired by the ocean and nature! From exploring our sensory sea tray, to creating colourful slide paintings and beautiful flower prints, every activity supported key areas of learning within the EYFS.

🌊 **Sensory Ocean Exploration**
Children explored a water tray filled with sea animals and ocean treasures. They developed their imagination through small world play, built language by naming sea creatures and describing what they found, and strengthened fine motor skills as they scooped, splashed and manipulated the resources.

🎨 **Slide Painting Adventure**
Using paint-covered toys on the slide created fantastic process art while encouraging children to experiment with cause and effect. They observed how movement changed the paint patterns, developing early scientific thinking alongside creativity, physical development and collaboration.

🌸 **Nature Printing**
Using flowers to make colourful prints encouraged children to explore different textures, patterns and colours. This open-ended activity promoted creativity, curiosity and conversations about the natural world while strengthening hand-eye coordination and fine motor control.

The children have had a brilliant time this week being pirates and enjoying our seaside-themed activities. They have thoroughly enjoyed the role-play area, serving each other ice creams, counting scoops, and talking about different flavours. They have also been busy working in the café, serving cakes and developing their communication and social skills.

The children have been learning about staying safe in the sun by applying sun cream and discussing why it is important to protect their skin. They have loved walking the plank, creating treasure maps, and searching for buried treasure, using their imagination and problem-solving skills throughout their adventures.

It has been a fantastic week full of fun, learning, and creativity! ☠️🏴‍☠️🍦☀️🗺️💎

🌊☀️ **June Topic: The Seaside** ☀️🌊

We are ready for a month full of fun, learning, and seaside adventures!

Throughout June, the children will be exploring all things seaside through a variety of exciting activities. We will be enjoying imaginative role play in our **Beach Shack** and **Ice Cream Parlour**, along with creative crafts, sensory play, stories, songs, and games inspired by the coast.

The children will have opportunities to learn about the beach, sea creatures, holidays by the sea, and the importance of staying safe near water, all while developing their communication, social, and creative skills.

We can't wait to make wonderful seaside memories together! 🏖️🍦🐚⚓️
