This morning in the Toddler Room, we got very colourful and explored mark making in powder paint! The children used wooden guides to help them make different patterns in the powder using various parts of their hands. This activity not only let them get messy and creative but also enhanced their concentration when following the lines on the wooden guides. It was so much fun, even the adults joined in! 🎨

Today in the Preschool Room, we explored loose parts in the role play area. Using different utensils and crockery, the children used their fine motor skills to scoop, pour and mix with pine cones and various other materials. This was a beautiful activity which not only enhanced their creativity but also their social interactions with friends! 🌻✨️

✨️ Little Leaders Framlingham Class of 2026 ✨️
On Friday we celebrated our wonderful class of 2026, we are immensely proud of the incredible little people they have grown into. We laughed, we danced and we cried as we looked back on our journey together.

A huge thank you to our parents for your continuous trust in us and the lovely words you've shared. We will be spending the next few weeks continuing to celebrate the class of 2026 before their next big adventure at school. We are all so proud of you! Never stop being your kind, brave, smart, amazing selves!

Last week in the Toddler room we had so much to explore!

Sophie had made an amazing tray full of colourful spaghetti, bark and tweezers for the children to use their imagination to fish out the 'worms' with their wooden tweezers! This tray also created so much curiosity about insects that live underground and the children asked so many questions about wildlife! To carry on the interest of worms and insects we then all went outside and went on a big hunt for any insects we could see. This tray also supported the children’s understanding of different lengths and supported their vocabulary as we described how the spaghetti felt on our hands! 🪱☺️🐞

The children also enjoyed pouring and making different drinks out of our cool lemon water play tray and we really enjoyed seeing what different patterns the water made when we splashed it! This supported our fine motor skills and gross motor skills! 💦🍋☺️

Charlotte setup some car ramps which the children made into different levels! We all discussed about how the cars go faster when the ramp is steeper and slower when they are more flat! 🚗☺️
