πŸ’œ The biggest and most heartfelt goodbye to our wonderful manager, Miss Rachel! πŸ’œ

Today is Miss Rachel’s last day at St Mary’s Playgroup as our amazing manager, before we welcome the lovely Leanne to the team on Monday. πŸ’œπŸ’š

We are so incredibly sad to be saying goodbye to Miss Rachel, who has been such a huge part of St Mary’s and truly the heart of our playgroup since 2023. She has given so much love, care, laughter and dedication to our setting, and she will be very, very missed by our children, families and the whole team. πŸ₯ΉπŸ’œ

But thankfully, this isn’t a proper goodbye! πŸ₯°

Miss Rachel will still be very much part of our Woodbridge Community Playgroups family, taking on her new role as our wonderful Funding Guru! πŸ’œπŸ’š

So, if you spot her out and about, please make sure you give her a big wave and a hello! πŸ‘‹πŸ’œ

Yesterday our class of 2026 had their graduation ceremony πŸ’œ. We are so proud of every single one of you, you are all beautiful inside and out and have the biggest and shiniest personalities. The children were absolute superstars and proudly showed off their certificates and listened to all the beautiful things the teachers spoke about them. We can’t wait to see how well you all flourish with your next steps to school, we know you are going to be amazing and learn lots (trust us, we know everything πŸ˜‰). Thank you for sharing these past few years with us πŸ’œ we always feel like an extension to your families πŸ’œ. Now it’s time for your next adventure. οΏΌπŸ’œ

Update on Football Fun Day!

Our Football Fun Day times have changed slightly. It will run from 2.30pm - 6pm, with kick off being at 3pm.

We still need players for our charity football game, to be part of our Woodbridge Community Playgroups team. We will have forms in the lobby for you to sign.

Our Football Fun Day is this Saturday and we'd love your help to make our cake stall bigger and better than ever! πŸ’œ ⚽ πŸ’š

If you're able to donate a cake, traybake, cupcakes or any sweet treats, we'd be so grateful. Homemade or shop-bought – we really don't mind!

Every donation helps us raise money for Sandlings and St Mary's Playgroups.

Please drop your cake donations off at either Sandlings or St Mary's Playgroup by this Friday.

Wow! That was a hot one! It was an extremely hot day today, we were very lucky that Miss Kate bought in her super slide for the children to play in this morning, we made sure we're outside early enough before it got too hot πŸ₯΅. The children had a wonderful time with lots of happy smiles and belly laughter's all around!

When the temperature got too hot outside we came inside where we kept the room dark and calm watched a film, played with play dough and made some fans with Miss Claire.

We have all been so impressed by the resilience of the children this week, they have never seen these types of temperatures before and they dealt with it so so so well! πŸ’œ

We hope everyone has a lovely weekend, keep cool and stay safe πŸ’œπŸ˜Ž

Big thank you to St Mary's church of England primary school for inviting us to participate in their sports day. The children were so happy to run their own races after watching the school children participate in lots of different sporting activities throughout the day.

All the playgroup children had the opportunity to run a race, and that they did! They did amazingly and soaked up all the cheers from the children and the parents watching on!

Miss Sophie made a banner with the children to hold up to help cheer on the school children which the children held with great pride! πŸ’œ
