As a manager, your role isn’t to pick sides. It’s to understand what’s happening, create space for people to be heard, and help the team move towards a constructive solution.

Start by listening to each person separately. Get clear on the facts, not just the emotions. Then bring the right people together to have an honest conversation about what needs to change.

Stay focused on the issue rather than personalities, set clear expectations for future behaviour, and follow up afterwards.

Lighthouse Women's Aid provides vital support to women and children affected by domestic abuse, helping people move towards safety and a future free from abuse.
