It’s been a week full of creativity, adventure and developing those all-important fine motor skills at Woodbridge!

This week, the children took part in lots of activities designed to support their fine motor development, including a variety of sorting activities and plenty of mark making. These hands-on experiences gave the children opportunities to practise their concentration, coordination and developing skills while having lots of fun.

As we look ahead to the approaching Autumn season, the children have also been learning all about camping and adventure. They enjoyed getting creative and making their very own playdough campfires, using their imaginations to bring their camping adventures to life. πŸ”₯πŸ•οΈ

It has been lovely to see the children developing their skills through creative and imaginative play while beginning to explore the changing seasons around them.

What an exciting week we've had at Woodbridge, with plenty of outdoor adventures, new discoveries, and some very cheeky visitors!

The children were thrilled to explore our brand-new climbing frame, using their gross motor skills and developing confidence as they climbed, balanced, and took on new challenges. It was wonderful to see them taking safe risks and encouraging themselves as they explored their new surroundings. πŸ’ͺ

We also welcomed a visit from the library bus, giving the children the opportunity to enjoy stories and explore a love of books and reading.🚌

Our outdoor water play has been particularly exciting this week, although our resident ducks have been rather cheeky and decided they wanted to join in too! The children have loved watching and investigating our much-loved ducks, showing lots of curiosity
as they observed them up close.

Alongside all this, the children explored pond life through water play and enjoyed discovering some new visitors in our newly revamped fish tank. 🌿

It's been a week full of curiosity, confidence, exploration, and lots of lovely outdoor learning. We can't wait to see what next week's adventures bring! πŸ’š

From seaside discoveries to creative fun, it's been another fantastic week at Woodbridge!

This week, the children enjoyed plenty of water and sand play, making the most of hands-on learning through exploration and imaginative play. They also had lots of fun creating some delicious cakes, encouraging creativity and role play as they baked together.

Our little explorers have shown a real interest in rock pools this week, learning about the treasures that can be found along the shoreline. To continue the theme, the children created some beautiful shell paintings, using their creativity to produce colourful seaside-inspired artwork.

It has been a wonderful week filled with exploration, creativity, and learning through play. We can't wait to see what exciting adventures next week will bring! πŸ’šβœ¨

This week at Woodbridge, our children have been exploring the wonderful theme of the seaside! πŸŒŠπŸ–οΈ

Throughout the week, the children have immersed themselves in a variety of seaside-inspired activities, encouraging imaginative play, creativity, and hands-on learning. They had great fun building sandcastles during sand play, splashing in the water, and exploring different textures and materials through their seaside experiences.

One of the children's favourite activities was shell painting, where they enjoyed getting creative and designing their own unique seaside treasures to take inspiration from the world around them.

It's been a fantastic week filled with creativity, exploration, and lots of seaside fun as we continue learning through play! β˜€οΈ

The children have been busy in the kitchen, enjoying lots of baking activities. They had a wonderful time making delicious cheese biscuits and tasty muffins, developing their measuring, mixing and fine motor skills while building confidence and independence.

Alongside their baking adventures, the children have been exploring the exciting world of science and discovery. Through hands-on experiences, they have been asking questions, investigating new ideas and developing their curiosity about the world around them.

What a fantastic week we've had at Woodbridge, filled with celebrations, learning and lots of outdoor fun!

A very special highlight this week was celebrating our Preschool Graduation. It was a wonderful day as we recognised just how far our preschool children have come during their time with us. We couldn't be prouder of each and every one of them and wish them all the very best as they begin their next exciting adventure at school. They will always be a part of the Woodbridge family.

Alongside the celebrations, our preschool children have been exploring the fascinating world of dinosaurs, enjoying a range of exciting activities that sparked their curiosity and imagination.

Our babies have been getting creative while learning all about colours, discovering how different colours mix together through fun, hands-on activities.

With the lovely weather continuing, everyone has also enjoyed spending plenty of time outdoors, making the most of our garden through play, exploration and lots of laughter.

It's been another memorable week full of learning, discovery and happy smiles. We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, and we can't wait to see what next week brings!

Our preschool children have been busy exploring the garden this week 🌼πŸͺ²
They helped build a brand‑new bug hotel, painted beautiful flowers, and went on exciting bug hunts. Their curiosity has been amazing to watch.

We also couldn’t help but admire our ducks β€” they’re getting so big now and absolutely beautiful πŸ¦†πŸ’› The children love checking on them during garden time.

In the baby room, our little ones have been learning all about farm life πŸšœπŸ‘
They enjoyed lots of singing with their new song sticks and joined in with plenty of farm‑themed fun.

A lovely week of learning through play for everyone.
