Year 5 visited BT this week for a Computer Science day, and visited the engineers from Open Reach to learn how our telephones and broadband are maintained, worked with Edison robots and got them to move around and follow various instructions, and programmed Micro:bits to play music, record the temperature and turn lights on and off!

As part of our work with the children on becoming global citizens, it’s always great when we are invited to take part in local community projects!
We were recently approached by Sutton Hoo, who asked if we could create some Saxon treasure inspired Christmas decorations to help decorate their Christmas trees this year. In our life skills session this week, the school joined together for a wonderful craft afternoon, designing and making Saxon inspired decorations.
