Year 6 enjoyed a fantastic day on the water today with the team of instructors from Aldeburgh Yacht Club and their friends from Aldeburgh Primary School Avocet Academy.

A huge thank you to the lead instructor, Seb, and everyone who made the day so much fun for the children. The children learnt such a lot and the smiles on their faces tell the story of how much they enjoyed themselves.

We were very lucky with the weather, which certainly helped, and made for some lovely photos. We hope you enjoy them.

Supporting Swifts at Our School

We’re delighted to share that 10 new swift boxes have been kindly donated and installed by the Suffolk Bird Group. Swifts are remarkable summer visitors, returning to the UK from May to August, but they are now red-listed due to the loss of nesting spaces in modern buildings. Installing nest boxes like these helps create new colonies and gives swifts safe places to breed.

A huge thank you to Suffolk Bird Group for helping us support local wildlife and protect these amazing birds for the future.
