Come and see what’s growing in our Sandlings Playgroup allotment 🍓🌱
Our Pre-Schoolers love spending time in our garden allotment, which is looked after with lots of care by our wonderful Pre-School Practitioner, Sandra. From planting and watering to checking what’s ready to harvest, the children get involved in every stage.
It’s a brilliant way for them to see first-hand where fruit and vegetables come from, notice the changes that happen as plants grow, and enjoy the excitement of picking something they’ve helped to nurture.
There’s so much learning happening along the way too, taking turns, working together, caring for living things and learning that good things often take a little time. 🌿💚
A lovely little corner of our garden, full of curiosity, muddy hands and plenty of growing!
