We have been made aware that a rumour is circulating that the school is presently unsafe and at risk of attack. Please be assured that this is not the case and school remains a safe and happy please for your children.
People who are scaremongering need to stop - please! This causes heightened anxiety for everyone.

Congratulations again to our amazing Tree Troopers who through their creativity won our school a fantastic outdoor shelter. Tamzin, Riley, Finley, Eliana and Charley were involved in the design and even put in a few screws! Special mentions go to: Precision Timber for helping us to make this happen and for doing such a fabulous job, to the Friends of Kings Oak who helped to finance the project and to Mr Wogan and Miss Farrell for all the help and support from the very first planning stage to guiding the children to become competition winners. We are very proud of them all.

We have lots of children in school who get involved with fundraisers, particularly through their extra-curricular acctivities, so as a school we don't usually promote these as we would be putting something out every week. However, as this one is rather special, we've agreed to share the link, as Kiera and Irisa are having the big chop and donating a big chunk of their beautiful hair to Little Princess Trust. Once again the rain has spoilt our sports day plans and we're making the decision to cancel both of today's events.

Watch out for an announcement later today as to the new date and times for the Key Stage 1 (Year 1/2) and Mr Lovatt's class events.
