💥🥋 BEGINNERS CLASSES - STARTING THROUGH SEPTEMBER 🥋💥

With a new School year starting , what better time traditionally to start a new activity ?

We are please to announce a new Beginners Class across the school starting on Wednesday 2nd September.

We are looking to expand our student team in the heart of Wombourne and endorsed by the E.K.O.🏆

💥✅ SPACES HAVE NOW BECOME AVAILABLE IN OUR BEGINNERS CLASSES ✅💥

🥋 Traditional Karate Club in Wombourne at Wombourne Civic Centre (Wombourne Parish Council), in The Wodehouse Suite on Mondays 6.45 to 7.45pm for a Junior Open Mat Practice session & a new Senior Class , with Wednesdays at 6.00 to 6.40 / 6.40 to 7.20 pm for Juniors and 7.20pm to 8pm for Seniors Students.

🥋We specialise in Children’s & Adults classes in Sankukai Karate, a style with the emphasis of Evasive techniques and traditional offences and defences. We are backed by our National Association & registered with EKO and are DBS cleared.

☀️🛫🏝️💥 HOLIDAY WEEK OFF 💥⛱️🛬☀️

To All, just a reminder that we , the instructors are taking the last week of August off (which also rolls into a Bank Holiday.

It’s our time to go and have a rare night off and take a weeks holiday with our families !

As July was a 5 week month, this equals out over the 2 months to those who paid on the advance system.

See you back on Wednesday 2nd September !!!

🌓☀️💥 ECLIPSE 💥☀️🌓

So during class , It was pretty hard to get a class going when everybody wanted to see the eclipse - but fair play for coming anyway ! One even bought a Welding mask 🤣😂

It was also unnerving to hear tales from the parents about where we were on the last one in 1999, to which the Instructors mentioned they were working at so and so , and the parents said they were actually in Primary school 🙈

🥋💥 PRESTIGIOUS VISITOR TO OUR SCHOOL💥🥋

Last night at class we had a very impromptu visitor in the form of Sensei Geoff Reynolds.

Sensei Geoff had a club in Quinton in the 1960s and taught very notable Senseis who later went onto form very big associations whether that be national or on the World stage. Included in that was our President of Sankukai Alan White. Also on the photo from the 60s, very famous Rock stars too, in Glenn Tipton from Judas Priest.

In essence , Sensei Geoff has one of the ultimate lineage in the region with a lot of clubs in a radius of Quinton where he started , ultimately coming from him.

Forget the bodies of associations for a moment, Sensei Geoff is the Grandfather of many of our clubs.

We reached out to him a few years back to be a friend of the club and this year invited him further, to be on the grading panel when Sempais Stu & Ant take their Dan grade.

Anyhow, last night he turned up as a surprise to me and us , so we took advantage !! - Sensei Geoff picked every Student of the Night medal , and presented the Student of the Month trophies.
