This is how we keep Nursery and Teeny Weenies cool in this heat ☀️, a quick splash in some cool water 💧. The children (and Green Sharon) had a wonderful time splashing their feet and wiggling their toes in the water! We hope everyone’s stays cool and safe in this heat!

6JdB were absolute superstars on their trip to Baggeridge today! They showed aspiration by challenging themselves on the high ropes to be the best they could be; resilience when it was tricky and because of the heat; responsibility by following instructions and kindness and respect through cheering each other on! All in all, it was a wonderful morning! ☀️ 🧗‍♂️

The animal lady came to visit our school today. The children were all super brave stroking the animals. We spoke about how the animals felt on the way back to Nursery. 🐍 🦔 🦉🦎 🐻 We are super lucky to share this experience and learn all about the animals we met. ☺️

We are exploring healthy eating in Nursery this week! 🍎🍊🍋🍈🥦🥒 We have incorporated some fruit and vegetables in our areas: lemon & lime water splash and fruit & vegetable paintings 🖼💧 Children spoke about the colours and smells in the classroom ☺️ ‘sweet’ ‘bright red’ ‘lots of colours like the rainbow’

Some amazing D&T skills in 6JdB were shown last week through the marble run projects created!

☀️ Good Afternoon, In light of the incoming high temperatures, children will be allowed to wear PE kit (shorts and t-shirt) every day this week. Please also send your child in with a cap and put sun cream on them at the start of the day. We will be limiting time spent on the playground, including PE lessons. Thank you, Mr Powell. ☀️

Our praise assembly happens every Friday in Nursery. We choose 3 children for 3 different certificates each week. The children cheer loudly and clap for their classmates 👏☺️ Well done to all of our Nursery children for trying super hard every week!

Year 5 were sensational speakers during our book talk session today. Mr Powell even joined us to share his thoughts.
