Hunter has been working really hard on his letter formations in Class C1! 🌟
Today, he practised writing the letters from his name and showed great concentration and determination. We are so proud of the effort he is putting into developing his early writing skills. Keep up the fantastic work, Hunter! ✏️😊

What does working at Penn Hall actually look like?

Honestly? It looks like a hydrotherapy pool being used as a genuine learning tool. A speech and language therapist, a teacher, and a teaching assistant planning together. Not separately. A sensory room that opens up communication for a child who hasn't found another way in yet. It does look a little different on World Book Day though.

We support pupils aged 2 to 19 with physical disabilities and complex needs. Our multidisciplinary team works together every day. Not just to educate, but to nurture the whole child. Every member of staff is known here, too.

"I feel part of the student and staff community." from the most recent staff survey.

At the SEND Recruitment Fair on 14 May, the Penn Hall team will be at Tettenhall Wood School to show you exactly what that looks like, and to talk through the roles available.

Arrival slots: 4pm, 5pm, 6pm. Tours: 4.30pm, 5.30pm, 6.30pm. Free entry.

Kanika in Class SC2 enjoyed taking part in Tea & Toast Thursdays during Life Skills this week. She worked really hard to use her fine motor skills to spread the butter independently and proudly made toast for her friends.
Well done, Kanika – a fantastic effort! 👏🍞

Wishing all of our students, parents, carers and Facebook friends a very happy Bank Holiday. We hope you have a lovely, relaxing weekend! ☀️

Working in SEND isn't for everyone.

But at Penn Hall, we're not looking for everyone. We're looking for people who see a child's potential before it's visible to the world, and who want to be part of a team that helps them reach it.

We're a specialist SEND school where teachers, therapists, and health professionals don't just work in the same building. They work together, genuinely, every day, to build bespoke pathways for young people who need more than a one-size-fits-all approach.

Our staff describe it like this:

"The school has a big heart. Staff show real care and commitment to pupils."

We're attending the SEND Recruitment Fair on 14 May at Tettenhall Wood School. Teaching roles, teaching assistants, and support staff. Come and find out what the Penn Hall community is really like.

Free tickets. Doors open from 4pm.
