Today Year 10 pupils spent a morning with undergraduates from Aston University as part of the Keith Bradshaw Introduction to Healthcare programme.
They worked with the undergraduates on revision strategies and were even provided with some amazing resources to support their learning. The pupils will access online mentoring from the undergraduates in maths and science before a graduation in March.

On Wednesday staff had the privilege of accompanying a group of 15 Year 7 & 8 pupils to Aston University for their KS3 Campus Experience Day. Pupils had an amazing day touring the university and even took part in a guest lecture. Mr Dhanoa and Miss Cullis were incredibly proud of how the pupils conducted themselves and were a credit to the school. Well done everyone!

Last week's assemblies focused the pupils' attention on their futures and the different levels of advice and guidance available to everyone regardless of the year group they are in. Pupils were shown our Wednesfield Employability Skills which will be a focus on tutor time in our half-termly career weeks and have also been mapped in our curriculum.

There were plenty of positives from the match. The boys showed great fight throughout challenging for every ball. There was plenty to take from the game, which shows that the boys have the foundations of a good side👏

We held our first interhouse competition of the year, on Tuesday. All the Ks3 students were really well-behaved, and we saw some brilliant basketball being played, overall, it was an amazing success with loads of excited and eager students attending the event🏀
