✨Building Emotional Regulation Skills ✨
Learning how to recognise, understand and manage emotions is one of the most important skills children develop during their early years.
By helping children name feelings, practise calming strategies and talk openly about emotions, we can support them in building confidence and resilience for the future.
Like all skills, emotional regulation develops over time and with practice.
How do you help your child to manage their feelings?

✨Supporting Positive Behaviour at Nursery✨
Positive behaviour support is about much more than managing difficult moments. It's about building relationships, creating a nurturing environment and helping children develop the skills they need to succeed.
At nursery, we use a range of approaches to support children's emotional development, confidence and independence while working closely with families every step of the way.
Strong partnerships help children receive consistent support wherever they are.

☀️ Summer days are on the way ☀️
The children enjoy our gardens in all weathers throughout the year, but there’s something especially uplifting about seeing them play outside in the summer breeze!
Whether they're riding bikes, exploring, creating, imagining or simply enjoying playtime with friends, our outdoor environments provide endless opportunities for children to learn, develop and thrive through play.
As the warmer months approach, we're looking forward to making even more memories outdoors and embracing all the adventures that summer brings.
What does your little one love most about being outside?

✨Understanding Why Challenging Behaviour Happens ✨
Behaviour is often the visible part of a much bigger picture.
Tiredness, hunger, big emotions, communication difficulties, sensory sensitivities and changes in routine can all influence how children behave. When we look beyond the behaviour itself, we can better understand what children may be experiencing.
Responding with patience, empathy and understanding helps children feel supported while they learn important emotional skills.
Have you ever noticed a particular trigger that affects your child's behaviour?
