Dear Parents and Carers,
With the excitement of the World Cup in full swing, we understand how special it can be for families to enjoy matches together. However, we’d like to gently remind everyone of the importance of maintaining healthy sleep routines for children during this time.
Quality sleep plays a vital role in children’s growth, learning, mood, and overall wellbeing. Late nights, irregular bedtimes, and screen exposure can make it harder for children to fall asleep, stay asleep, and feel rested the next day. Even short-term disruptions can affect concentration, behaviour, and energy levels at school.
While it’s wonderful for children to share in big moments, we encourage parents to:
• Keep consistent bedtime routines, especially on school nights
• Limit late-night viewing, choosing earlier matches when possible
• Create a calm wind-down period before bed, away from screens
• Prioritise sleep over staying up late, even for exciting events
There will always be highlights to watch together the next day—but well-rested children are happier, healthier, and better ready to learn.
Thank you for your support in helping children stay balanced during this exciting time.

Main Hall – Please enter via The Main Entrance
We would like to warmly invite parents and carers to join us for a relaxed Coffee Morning, where you will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss any concerns around SEND, Mental Health, and the new RSE Curriculum. This will be a chance to meet informally with key members of our school staff, as well as partners we work closely with, including Tough Enough To Care, Reflextions, and The Way. Whether you are seeking information, reassurance, or simply a conversation, please do come along for a cup of coffee and an open, supportive discussion.
