Year 1 had a wonderful time at Perton Middle School this morning.

They had the opportunity to hear Tom Read Wilson read his new book, and hear from the illustrator of the book, Rebecca Bagley.

Some of the children also had the chance to ask Tom and Rebecca some questions and have a copy of the new book signed by them. 📚✍️

🌟 From First Steps to Final Firsts 🌟

As we wrap up the first week back, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the many firsts that make up a student’s journey.

From those first tentative steps into education to the final firsts of a student’s school journey, every stage brings new experiences, milestones and memories.

At South Staffordshire Learning Partnership, we’re incredibly proud of the journey our pupils take across our schools — from their earliest days of learning and discovery to preparing for the next exciting chapter ahead.✨

Here’s to celebrating every first, every achievement and every milestone along the way.

From first steps… to final firsts, and everything in between.
