We hope everyone had an enjoyable half-term break and was able to make the most of the glorious weather🌞

It’s great to be back for the final half term of this academic year.

We have lots planned over the next seven weeks, and we are looking forward to an exciting and productive period with our learners 👍

Our ‘OL’ (Original Learner) left our provision on Friday.

He joined us in February 2025 after 18 months of non-attendance at school and Elective Home Education.

It has been an absolute pleasure to have him at Leading Futures. It has been a real privilege to watch him grow in confidence, resilience, maturity, and self-belief throughout his journey with us.

He leaves us with Entry Level 3 in Maths and English, alongside 18 AQA Unit Awards - achievements he should be incredibly proud of.

We wish him every success as he embarks on his transition to his forever school.

Believe in yourself, you are capable of amazing things! 🌟

Every educational journey is unique. It is amazing to see our learners growing in confidence as they work towards and achieve their Functional Skills qualifications.

At Leading Futures, there is no ceiling to success. Our learners have bright futures ahead of them in Post-16 education and beyond.

Our colourful level ladder ensures that every step of progress is visible, recognised, and celebrated. 🌈✨

Well done to all of our learners for their hard work, determination, and resilience - your futures are full of potential! ⭐️

Who’s heard of rubber ducking? 🐥

For World Mental Health Week, we have been “rubber ducking” again with our learners.

They have loved blinging and decorating their ducks, and the arts and crafts element has provided fantastic therapeutic benefits too✨

Rubber ducking is a simple but effective way to support people experiencing worries or anxieties.

Sometimes, talking through your thoughts out loud - even to a little duck - can help you process problems in a non-judgemental way.

Hope you like our ducks. We are quackers about them!

Another lovely walk with our learners this week 🌿 We strolled along the canal, met some friendly cows and horses, and took time to enjoy the amazing wildlife around us.

Walking isn’t just great for physical health - it’s also good for the soul 💫

Getting outside, moving your body, and connecting with nature releases endorphins that boost your mood and support mental wellbeing. So get walking and feel the difference! 🥾🥾

If you would like to donate to our walking fundraiser please follow the link below:

Please continue to follow, share, and support our journey. Your encouragement means the world to us. Thank you for believing in our learners and helping us open doors to new experiences.

To all the young people sitting their GCSEs and SATs - wishing you the very best of luck.

Stay focused, believe in yourselves, and do your best.

Remember, these exams are just one part of your journey, not the whole story.

Hard work, determination and resilience matter just as much as the results.

Keep going, stay positive, and make yourselves proud. You’ve got this 💪📚

A huge well done to Mr Hawkins, who played in a charity rugby match on Friday night in support of Tough Enough To Care 🏉💪

The charity does incredible work raising awareness and supporting mental health, and we are proud of our staff getting involved with such an important cause.

At our provision, we encourage all of our learners to find what they are passionate about and pursue it with confidence, commitment, and determination 👍
