The summer term is coming to an end, which means it’s time to say goodbye to our pre-school graduates. On Monday 22nd July we will hold our Pre-school graduation, there are 2 ceremonies that will take place (10.30 AM & 2.00PM). Please speak to a member of staff if you are unsure which ceremony your child is taking part in.
Can we please ask that you bring your child into nursery 10 minutes before the ceremony start time as this will give us enough time to get them ready- Thank you!

This week BLN have taken part in Earth Day, there has been group discussions about how we can keep our earth healthy. We have been learning about recycling, why we recycle as well as junk modelling with the materials that the children have recycled. We have had earth-related story time and have made a plan to grow our own fruit and vegetables in our nursery garden once the weather starts to pick up.
Pre-school children showed great hand-eye coordination, balance and endurance while taking part in the egg and spoon race during the Easter celebrations. Well done Pre-school!
World Book Day 2024!
At Berrington Lodge Nursery we promote reading for pleasure, offering every child the opportunity to have access to different books. Reading for pleasure is the single biggest indictor of a child’s future success. Prior to Covid-19 the nursery had a library basket in the hall way where children could sign out books to take home and read with parents or carers, we will be reintroducing the nursery library. There will be a basket of books in the hall way so parents and carers please feel free to ask the staff to take them home and support us to encourage reading.
Thank you.
