Last weekend we asked for your help choosing a finalist in the Express & Star Design an Ad contest. You chose Darcee's rainbow tram design.

Help Darcee (and Bhylls Acre Primary School PTFA) win the overall competition by voting on the Express and Star's website. The winner will be announced on 9 July: https://www.expressandstar.com/news/education/2019/06/20/design-an-ad-competition-2019-get-your-votes-in-now/

GROTTO SCHOOL TRIPS!
Schools and Nurseries are invited to meet Mr and Mrs Claus on FRIDAY DECEMBER 14TH 2018.
BOOKING ESSENTIAL! (Limited availability)
Come along to visit Mr and Mrs Claus in Santa’s Grotto here at the Ironworks. We are dedicating Friday December 14th to any Schools, Playgroups and nurseries who want to come and visit Santa and the elves here at the Ironworks.
Each child will get the chance to meet Mr and Mrs Claus and post their letter to the North Pole, or give it to the man himself.
Mrs Claus has a direct line to the elves in the North Pole and can check if they have the toys you are wanting this year. It’s a great experience for everyone and each child gets to choose a toy from the magical toy forest to take home with them.
Slots are available to book on December 14th between 10am – 3pm.
We have discounted our normal rates for the grotto to just £6.50 per child and adults go free.
Children must be accompanied by parent/guardian or staff from the school/nursery.
Minimum 5 children per school/nursery.
To book, please email [email protected] or call 01691 610952 and speak to Wendy Bowes our School Partnership Coordinator.
Could Bhylls acre parents please like Evies drawing on the scs post. The school could win a sofa made from her design 😍 thank you!

We had a fabulous time this afternoon thank you so much... The turkey cobs were delicious xx
I appreciate the school do lots of fundraising for different things but I was wondering if this is something the school could do?

It's such an important thing to educate children about, so they know they can talk to someone.

I'm happy to help in which ever way I can.

It’s that time of year, the Christmas fare is around the corner and it may seem the PTFA keep “asking” for donations or hands on volunteers. So I thought it may be an appropriate time to just give you a small insight into a handful of things the PTFA have been able to achieve through fund raising just in the past few years alone. I will keep this short and sweet. To name a few things we have funded ……

* Coaches for residential trips
* The purchase of all iPads
* New Acorns book bags (Each new school year)
* Forest school initial set up costs (resources etc)
* Ongoing termly forest school costs for resources
* Large Contribution towards toys/resources in the new seedlings nursery.

The list is endless. Without the PTFA and your support this would not be possible. So thank you for all your ongoing support and a big thank you to the PTFA team who help make fund raising & events possible. If you would be interested in volunteering at this years Christmas fair which will be on the 1st December please send me a message directly, even if you can only offer 1hour setting up ,believe me it helps. 🤶

Parent, friends and relatives of Bhylls Acre school.
We need your help....
Are you a business owner? Do you work for a small business? Do you have generous friends that own businesses?

We are looking for donations to make this year's Christmas raffle the best yet!!! Donations can come in the form of vouchers, items, or even time.
We know the last 2 years have been tough for most and even a small donation will make a difference to our fundraising attempts.
We haven't been able to raise the funds we would normally and so we're hoping this year will be different and raise the roof!
If you, or someone you know is happy to donate a product or service to our raffle, then please message us direct on our page. Each donation will be appreciated and made clear which business donated so a small advert for yourselves too.
Thank you for your continued support in making our children's time at Bhylls Acre more enjoyable with the added benefits we can provide through the funds raised.
