1st october 2024 marks the day we celebrate 18 years of Caterpillars Nursery
Happy 18th birthday caterpillars 💚

Quick update
Very early start for today
We will be open tomorow all floors, equipment that could be saved has been cleaned and safe for the children to attend.
We still have a lot to sort but all safe for children to attend nursery

The only floor that hasnt dried out is our entrance.currently drying it out with dehumidifiers.
Please be mindful that we have had to use bags of sand infront if our entrance in case we have another storm today.

Its been an eventful weekend and im exhausted but would like to thank all the people who helped or offered to help 💚

Sadly the nursery has suffered from the storm. The main room , entrance and office have flooded.
We are cleaning up as much as we can.
We will keep you updated as we keep working hard to make sure we can open on Monday.
The caterpillars family will do our best !

The team we sponser are looking for new players.
We are in need of a goal keeper and an outfeild player for the start of the next season.

The coach of this team is amazing he puts 100% into making sure all the boys get oppourtunity to develop and most of all ensure they enjoy the game.
My son plays for the team and didnt have much confidence until he joined lanehead. All the boys made him feel welcome and they are not only a team but a group of friends.
I highly recommend stu and the team at lanehead dragons
So if you are looking for a team for your child to join this is deffinately the team to join

Our fabulous Jayne got our kitchen a 5 star rating. Well done Jayne thank you for being so hardworking and dedicated to providing our children with healthy meals and keeping the kitchen to a very high standard

Graduation 2024

The children had a visit from two lovely PCSO's yesterday . The main aim of the visit was to bring the children closer to the Police Officers and talk about the people who help us.

In education we want to be aiming to break down the stigmas or negative stereotypes that the environment, family, or society generates in the child about this police force, with sayings such as: “If you don’t behave, the Police will take you away!

We spoke about how the police are their friends are there to help people, and that they can ask them for help in case they get lost or need anything.

They were also told about the emergency number (999)

The officers then showed them all the things that police officers carry with them and which form part of their uniform. They also looked at the police car and sirens and lights that alert us that the police are there.

The children had so much fun and loved learning new things!
