YMCA City Gateway Day Nursery YMCA City Gateway Day Nursery is based close to the city centre in Wolverhampton Children also have access to an onsite safe and secure outside play area.

Our friendly staff will make sure that your child is happy and has a lot of fun through exciting games and activities to suit their individual needs.Each room is purpose built and filled with toys ideal for the various age groups. This includes a sensory room with music, lights and different textures for the children to explore and is particularly beneficial for children with hearing or sight impairments. City Gateway will provide your child with nutritious meals cooked in our onsite kitchen.

We do really have the best parents/carers.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the wonderful gifts you have bought for our team since the end of term. It is so lovely and thoughtful of you all and it really means so much to us.

Working in early years is incredibly rewarding, but having parents/carers who recognise and appreciate the care, love and dedication we put into the children makes it even more special.

When we looked out the window of YMCA Coffee at the Clock every afternoon, we saw hundreds of young people walking home from school. We wanted to create somewhere safe, positive and welcoming for them. Today, that vision has become the YMCA Youth Cafe, which welcomes around 80 young people every week!

The Youth Cafe is just one example of the fantastic initiative we're blessed to have in our Black Country team, to create valuable spaces in partnership with local organisations.

We're incredibly proud to share that YMCA Black Country Group has been shortlisted for two national YMCA Youth Matters Awards: YMCA of the Year & Training & Education Project of the Year for our DWP Youth Hub in West Bromwich

These nominations recognise the impact being made every day across the Black Country. From helping young people find employment and develop their confidence, to providing safe housing, early years education and community spaces, this recognition belongs to everyone who has played a part in our journey.
