5JF got the chance to soak Miss Peers during a fun, outdoors Maths lesson. Two teams faced each other in a times table race. Whoever answered the question first got to throw a water balloon at Miss Peers. By the end, it was the whole class .vs. Miss Peers. Luckily, Mrs Paskin escaped with just wet feet!
It's not only our Year 6 that we say goodbye to today, some of our staff are moving on as well. We wish them all luck with their next adventure 👋👋👋
We had a lovely worship session this morning with Reverend Kate, to wish our Year 6 classes all the best for the future. GOOD LUCK YEAR 6! 🥳🙌🏆🥇

Have you ever been made to feel less important than others? Today in our worship Reverend Kate told us a story from the letter of James in the Bible, one of Jesus' followers, about how it's wrong to show favouritism, like when someone is rich or someone is poor. Instead, like Jesus did, we should treat everyone with the same dignity and respect because everyone is special to God. Well done to the two children who helped act out the story.
The children have had a creative afternoon in year 5. They have been sketching the architecture of a Mosque! ☪️

A massive thank you for all your kind donations for Children's mental health week, our total was £174.00. We also raised £86 for the NSPCC's Big Breaktime last week. Both charities support children and young people in our communities with their mental health and wellbeing.
Year 5 enjoyed their 'NSPCC Big Break' yesterday. We took part in a friendship activity that enabled us to get to know somebody that we don't already know that well.
To embed this week's Christian value of 'Friendship', the children rotated around the class and had a chat to find out about their class friend's favourite game, favourite food, if they have ever been abroad and where and what their worst fear is. This activity created a lot of giggles, smiles and chats...(the pictures speak for themselves!).🤝👫👬💬😊
